LEICESTER, England (ChurchMilitant.com) - Britain is threatening to make vaccines for medical staff mandatory after a critical mass of doctors and health care workers, especially from black and Asian communities, rejected the experimental COVID-19 vaccine.

Doctors in Italy, Ireland and Germany, while categorically rejecting the unwarranted smear of "anti-vaxxers," are also refusing the take the jab for a variety of scientific reasons.

In England, a study of 20,000 staff at the University Hospitals of Leicester National Health Service (NHS) Trust has triggered alarm bells among vaccine zealots after 59% (2,843 of 4,863) of South Asian staff and 37% (499 of 1,357) of black staff refused the jab.

Across all staff, take-up was lowest among doctors (57%, 1,721 of 3,001), and highest among administrative and executive staff (73%, 2,537 of 3,465) and health care scientists (73%, 634 of 871).

'Increased Awareness' Cited

"The reason why black and Asian doctors are protesting against the experimental mRNA vaccines is most likely rooted in increased awareness, as opposed to governmental distrust," British Asian researcher Dr. Nilam Khan told Church Militant, remarking that she, too, would urge people not to take the experimental vaccine.

"As a biomedical scientist who has studied molecular genetics and has a firm understanding of mRNA and genetic methods, I strongly oppose the administration of mRNA vaccines due to a number of different reasons," Khan emphasized.

Khan expressed concern over the lack of long-term studies in terms of the "effect of mRNA (inactive or not), the lack of specificity to epithelial cells where the SARS-CoV-2 virus attacks and the possibility that the populations included in trials were too few."

"Injecting mRNA into the human body inadvertently will have consequences, most of which may not be measurable until at least a few years or decades ahead," Khan, a practicing Muslim from Leicestershire, warned.

On Monday, however, England's Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty threatened to make the jab compulsory for all medical and health care staff, insisting they have a "professional responsibility" to get vaccinated.

Responding to Whitty's threat, London mayoral candidate and member of the London Assembly David Kurten predicted "Western nations rapidly and shockingly descending into a state of medical fascism."

'Hideous' Coercion & 'Undesirables'

Speaking to Church Militant, Kurten, said that "it is hideous to coerce doctors, nurses and care home workers into taking an injection of experimental mRNA or genetically modified chimp flu on the threat of losing their livelihoods."

Introducing COVID passports would "reflect 20th-century fascist regimes where groups classed as 'undesirables' were denied their fundamental freedoms and basic human rights," Kurten warned. "Those who trust their immune systems to fight coronaviruses and refuse to be injected are treated as the new 'undesirables.'"

Doctor Gerard Waters from Whitethorn Clinic in Celbridge, Ireland, is facing dismissal as a "conscientious objector" to the jab. Waters announced he will not be receiving or administering the vaccine on safety grounds.  

"My problem primarily is that I don't think the pathogenicity of COVID is sufficiently severe to a) cause lockdowns or b) to use a messenger RNA [injection]," Waters stresses, explaining that he wouldn't inject anything into his patients that he wouldn't inject into himself.

"If anyone is stupid enough to want the vaccine, they're entitled to get it," Waters concedes.

While four other doctors from Ireland have congratulated Waters for his conscientious objection, Dr. Pat Morrissey from Limerick says he, too, has concerns about the jab and so is treated as "a pariah among my colleagues."

Speaking to Church Militant, eminent epidemiologist Dr. Paolo Gulisano noted that "the phenomenon of conscientious objection to the vaccine, for different reasons, including religious ones" was becoming more pronounced. 

He noted:

There are some who are opposed to this vaccine because it was created using cells of aborted fetuses. There are also conscientious objections due to the efficiency and risks of this vaccine. Side effects are being cited more and more, but this is something that shouldn't be surprising because this is an experiment.

Experimental treatments call for voluntary participation and should not oblige anyone to be a human guinea pig, the historian of medicine observed.

Not a Real Vaccine: 'Gene Therapy'

In the Italian port city of Brindisi, 30% of doctors are rejecting the experimental vaccine.

Rome's doctors walked away from a vaccine hub at the city's Fiumicino airport after being offered the low-efficiency Oxford-AstraZeneca jab instead of the Pfizer/BioNTech jab which reports about 90% efficacy, as stated in the letter they received and the consent forms they signed.

Giuseppe Ippolito, scientific director of the Spallanzani National Institute for Infectious Diseases in Rome is demanding that "all health workers, starting with doctors, must be vaccinated against COVID" or be suspended from service.

The president of the Italian Federation of Medical Professional Associations (FNOMCEO), Filippo Anelli, has said that a few hundred doctors were unwilling to take the jab.

On his website, conscientious objector Dr. Mariano Amici is citing the Hippocratic Oath and warning of the "serious dangers" of the experimental jab, insisting they are "not vaccines, but gene therapy products."

Amici writes:

We will inject nucleic acids that will cause our own cells to produce parts of the virus. The first gene therapies will be with RNA, but there are projects with DNA. There is therefore a real risk of transforming our genes permanently. There is also the possibility, by modifying the nucleic acids of eggs or sperm, to transmit these genetic modifications to our children.

The Roman surgeon also warns: "The people who promote these gene therapies, falsely called 'vaccines,' are sorcerer's apprentices and take Italians and other citizens of the world as guinea pigs."

Since Italian law prohibits compulsory vaccination, health authorities are issuing directives seeking to transfer doctors and nurses who refuse the vaccine from departments that manage "suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19."

Meanwhile, a German survey of medics shows that a quarter of doctors and over half of nurses in Germany are refusing to be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2.

Germany's Health Minister Jens Spahn said his ministry had only anecdotal data, with only 20% of medics receiving a jab in some settings, while in others it was as high as 80%.

However, regular flu vaccines among medics is "unfortunately very, very below average," Spahn lamented.
