SPRING GROVE, Pa. ( - The student action arm of American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) is traveling around the United States praying at each of the 50 state capitals and other cities to hasten the country's urgently needed return to order.

"This huge blanket-America-with prayer effort is urgent because, more than ever, we need to lift our eyes to God and His Blessed Mother and pray for calm, confidence and courage," according to the TFP website.

The caravan consists of nine groups of men coordinated to reach each of the 50 states and territories throughout the summer on a Rosary tour calling on divine help to reject socialism and restore America.

The "50-State Rosary Tour to Reject Socialism and Rebuild America" crusade most recently visited Nashville, Tennessee and St. Louis, Missouri June 7.

The young volunteers said, "As with each of our peaceful prayer rallies, we had the presence of a statue of Our Lady of Fatima, the TFP grand standard and a large banner that read, 'Pray for America to return to order.'"

The launch site of the crusade was St. Augustine, Florida — the location of the first Mass in America — at the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche where 20 crusaders recited the Rosary June 3.

Caravan leader Matthew Shibler spoke at the commencement ceremony, saying:

As human solutions fail, we must turn to God to restore America. In times of great uncertainty and confusion, a child turns to his mother. So, we turn to the Blessed Mother and beg her to restore America and give us calm, confidence and courage during the storm.

The rally closed with the song "God Bless America," accompanied by bagpipes and drums.

One of the leaders can be heard saying on a video covering the event: "We don't like the way things are going with the 'new normal' of the COVID-socialist solutions and we are absolutely opposed to the anarchy we see in today's streets."

It's nice to see a whole large group of men of all ages standing there ... representing the Faith. ... We need more male groups doing this.

One woman can be heard saying: "It's nice to see a whole large group of men of all ages standing there ... representing the Faith. ... We need more male groups doing this."

The caravan then moved on to Tallahassee, Florida; Columbia, South Carolina; Montgomery, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; Raleigh, North Carolina and Richmond, Virginia.

TFP student action director John Ritchie, told Church Militant that "We hope to visit Lansing, Michigan either at the end of June or the beginning of July. The exact schedule is not ready yet."

TFP emphasizes commitment to Our Lady and the Rosary, as well as belief in the power of prayer. "We need a lasting remedy to restore the moral fabric of our nation. And what Our Lady of Fatima requested in 1917 is most relevant today — prayer, penance and conversion," they say.

A map of the prayer crusaders' state-by-state progress is posted on the TFP website, as is a request for donations for "a tank of gas" in order "to keep our vans rolling from city to city."
