Things in the Church and the world are going from bad to worse. But most people, especially Catholics, are oblivious as to just how evil these times are.
No-fault divorce, contraception, abortion and so-called same-sex marriage have all been enshrined into law and permeate America's culture. Sodomy, one of the sins that cries out to Heaven for vengeance, is normalized and those promoting it are pushing it for the sexualization of children.
The times are evil, and for 50 years, priests and bishops have done little to nothing to stop it. Now, priests like Fr. James Altman are stepping out to proclaim the truth, but their bishops swiftly react to silence them.
In 1973, Our Lady spoke to St. Agnes Sasagawa at her convent in Akita, Japan, warning:
The work of the Devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres ... churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the Demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
The Demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them.
During another apparition, Our Lady told Sr. Agnes:
In order that the world might know His anger, the Heavenly Father is preparing to inflict a great chastisement on all mankind. With my Son I have intervened so many times to appease the wrath of the Father. I have prevented the coming of calamities by offering Him the sufferings of the Son on the Cross, His Precious Blood, and beloved souls who console Him, forming a cohort of victim souls. Prayer, penance and courageous sacrifices can soften the Father's anger."
At Fatima, Our Lady told people to pray the Rosary every day and wear the scapular, asking people to "pray much and make sacrifice for sinners, for many souls go to Hell because there is no one to sacrifice and pray for them."
She also declared that Her Immaculate Heart will triumph over the evils of the times. The only question is how many Catholics will take part in Her triumph?
