The Catholic Church in America was rocked by news in 2018 that Cdl. Theodore McCarrick, the man put in charge of drafting child protection policies in the U.S. Church, was in fact a homosexual predator. A disturbing parallel can be drawn in the Society of St. Pius X, which has in charge of its own protection policies an accused homosexual predator and rapist — Fr. Ramón Anglés.
